Autumn. There’s a reason that so many people are obsessed with this season. It’s the season of slowing down. Savoring family moments. Gathering around for good meals. Celebrating the winding down of a busy summer.
Ah, autumn. My absolute favorite time of year.
Welcome to the beginning of our fall home tour, starting with the living room.
When I think of fall, I think of rich colors and cozy textiles.
Plump pillow covers in seasonal shades that you just want to sink into.
Some comfy throws here and there, making me want to curl up with a good book and a mug of apple cider.
The natural elements of autumn are my favorite.
Pumpkins of all shades and shapes.
Perfectly round or adorably lumpy.
Switching out my normal blues for lovely browns.
I couldn’t pass up these flowers that I found at Whole Foods. Not exactly orange, not exactly red. The perfect in-between shade.
I’ve never really been a huge fan of acorns in the past, but now it seems that I am obsessed with them. From having them on my pillows to this golden pair on the coffee table, a great way to add a subtle fall touch.
The look is completed with my vintage fall botanical prints that I shared last week. You can download them here.
Thanks for looking!
